Veterans only - free training to become a utility lineworker

Community Career Development is sponsoring a new training program to teach Veterans how to work on utility poles as a lineworker. The 12 week training will be held in downtown Los Angeles beginning June 1, and employment possible with a project in San Diego County at the completion of training. We are especially interested in recruiting female veterans for this program.

Veterans with an honorable discharge and at least 6 months of service, who have been discharged within the last 48 months will be considered for this program. Because there is some basic electrical knowledge taught during the program, math skills are important. And you'll need to be able to climb poles regularly.

Orientation is required if you would like to be considered for this program. They will be held May 17, 18, and 19 at our Wilshire office. Visit http://bit.ly/lineworker for complete details.
